Here are the Happenings in Crested Butte – End of October 2014 from David Ochs, director of the chamber of commerce.  Upcoming events include the release of artists for the Mountain High Music Festival, Ski Swap, reseeding of the Deli Trail and a few other happenings.

Mountain High Music Festival

The Mountain High Music Festival is slated for January 15th – 18th, 2015, and is coming in hot with a STELLAR lineup of musicians, songwriters, and talent galore.  The MHMF is working hard to bring an event to Crested Butte that will be a keystone and iconic event EVERY January!  Dean Dillon has some of the biggest talent in the industry on hand, and people should be coming from near and far!

Check out the website for the lineup, tickets, partners, sponsors, and all the latest regarding the Festival.   http://www.mountainhighmusicfest.com

Deli Trail Seeding – Wednesday, October 29th

The Town of Crested Butte and Gunnison County are nearing completion of the Deli Trail and need your help to reseed the trail prior to end of the trail season.  Please help reseed the newly completed trail on Wednesday October 29th from 2-6pm by spreading seed and hay.  This will help prevent the spread of noxious weeds and allow the finished grade to be completed once the snow melts this spring. Please plan to meet at the entrance of the River Bend subdivision or walk from Town down the Deli Trail. Please bring water, work gloves and hopefully sunscreen. If you have any questions please contact Town Planner Michael Yerman at 349-5338.

FREE! Yoga for the Peaceful

Join YftP for two free yoga classes being taught by the graduating Prana Vinyasa teachers in training! The two classes will be held: Saturday Nov. 1st: 3:30 – 4:45 and Sunday Nov. 2nd 11 – 12:15.  See the attached poster for more details.
